You people are honestly excited about this? 9 pages? ANYONE can put up a torrent and call it Chinese Democracy.

I bet 100 bucks that some non-hardcore fan heard about Chinese Democracy, figured he could download it online, and set off a false alarm.

Same thing happened with my friend. I told him about Chinese Democracy, he thought he could download it, next day he came telling me he had the "whole album."

If anything, I think the lack of a seed helps the authenticity of this. From past experience, bogus tracks and albums tend to have quite a lot of seeds. Still, there are a few things which makes me doubt this is real:

1) Axl has alluded to the fact that not one of the albums' is totally finished. Having said this, he could just be referring to the sequence of tracks, as he referred to in the interview.

2) The differing bitrates. This could possibly be explained by the leaker ripping the MP3's on different software - but why would he do this...?

3) The 15 seconds of "This I Love" from this record doesn't sound like GNR to me. But then again, the first 15 seconds of "Better" wouldn't have sounded like GNR to me if I didn't know it was them. ?


~ All in all, I'm calling "bogus" (or at least not ripped from a master tape). The best I'm hoping for is a larger demo CD.

Like you said - why would he do that. ?And if he JUST wanted to rip certain songs at a different bit rate he could have just changed the preferences in whatever software he was using.

It's fake. ? I can't say with certainty obviously since I don't know for a fact, but there is absolutely no reason to think it might be real.

If your looking for the titles of the songs yourself, their already coming up as diffrent GNR songs I.E. This I love i downloaded off limewire and it was just locomotive..so some people are either already posting old songs with these names or its all just fake ?
