a dude at cd.com is half way through the download, but the guy who shares is offline, probably gonna know more tomorrow.

if ur half way through, you can already listen to the part you have downloaded...

Not always the case.

no he cant.

it most likely downloads the tracks evenly, so you cant listen to a single one until you have all of the files completely downloaded.

with bit torrent you can listen to the parts of the song you have downloaded, i found out by accidentally adding stuff i was still downloading to my playlist.... it may jump from one part to another but it a considerable part of the track is downloaded you can tell if this is fake or not.

BE CAREFUL, FOLKS ARE NOW SAYING IT'S A VIRUS!!!  HACKERS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE MASSIVE INTEREST IN THE ALBUM!!!

Hackers? Call me crazy, but could this actually be Geffen behind this, trying to fake people out and scare them from downloading future leaks?

I'll listen to it the second it leaks, doesn't mean I'm any less of a fan. Hopefully it puts pressure on Axl to release it soon...I work at a music store and will probably buy at least 1 or 2 copies (Dual Disc/LP/Import...etc.) but that's not going to stop me from listening to new GNR music.

Like ANYTHING with GNR nowadays...I don't believe it until I see it(Shows, line-up), hear it (songs) or have it (tickets).

It's the same as with dowloading a season from a tv series. You can watch episodes even if the other episodes are still downloading. I selected two songs wich I wanted to download from this torrent just to see if there's any truth to this. I guess we'll find out in the morning.

I am kinda hoping that this isn't a leak of the album cuz it would suck since it's close to release now.

I would probably be tempted into listening to it, although that doesn't stop me from definitely buying it on release day.

After having thought about for a bit, didn't Axl say on Trunk that they are still working on CD? If that's the case, CD has not leaked. I did an essay on the music piracy business a couple of years back where in my research I basically found that most album leaks originate from CD manufacturing plants. If Axl and the band are still working on the album, it has not yet reached the plants and is therefore most likely not leaked. And if it is leaked, it is an incomplete version stolen from the master tape vaults or demos of all the songs.

dont forget Axl has played new songs in clubs where copies could have easily been ripped by the DJs

Yeah, but since he's saying they're still working on it, he wouldn't be able to play the entire thing at clubs. All songs would not be available. And, again, if they are, they're most likely not complete or demos.

Just read this impression. I think this leak is bullshit.

"
"This I Love" kind of sounds like the beginning of an ABBA song, I forget which one, I think the one with those giant snowmen in the video. The vocals also sound like distortions of "Rhiad and the Bedouins", so I strongly believe this is fake. "

axl said he had 2 and a half albums worth of songs.there could easily be 1 albums worth of material ready for final mastering
