Let's just think about this.. there is no way Axl would do these dates which are obviously of his choosing.. without a plan to definately put it out.. after what happened in 02  ok

    has anyone considered the possibility that because there's a new guitarist chosen, the tracks will have to be re-recorded? (could be reason for the late-fall release)....let's just hope it's not going to take longer...the anticipation is killing me...

WRONG, Axl NEVER until last nite gave a release date. It was always guesses or that dumb bullshit google changing the date. Axl said Fall, so that is the real estimate. Sept will prob be the month.

honestly im not real confident in this fall release....

how are they gonna wrap th ebaby up if they will be touring all summer and going back in tour...

axl please tour the summer then go back and finish then tour.

He did make it seem as if even though it wasn't yet complete, that they were in the very final stages of finishing the 1st two albums.

I agree, it seemed as though they were working on the third.  Given that fact, we should hear a great deal of the new material next week!  hihi

I don't know. It's good to hear him say that but at the same time he doesn't sound overly sure. Who knows. I think it should've been out before summer but whatever.

It bugs me, but that's how it is.  He just wants to be done with all the creative output and then focus on touring with whoever's left in the band, apparently.  I cant say I'm bummed out really, at least he's out & about again.

Sounds like great news to me. Fall is not that far away. We'll have plenty of bootlegs to tide us over for the next 4-5 months. And you know what usually happens a few weeks before an album is released? A single is released. Assuming all goes as planned with the album in fall/late fall then we'll have a single in early fall/fall. Hell, an album in September could mean a single in August. After waiting years and years I honeslty don't mind waiting a few more months. Fingers crossed though.

My guess is November 21st.  It's the Tuesday before Thanksgiving here in the US.  And Thanksgiving is knows as the start of the holiday shopping season.  A lot of big releases are in November.

bla bla bla, the album is always 4-5 months away based on bullshit rumors. The only time Axl gave us a release date was for summer 2001 (something like that, I can't remember exactly). A real time frame from the man himself (not soon or that kinda thing) is not a bullshit rumor we've heard a thousand times already. Sure, plans can change as I suggested above, but this is more real than Joe Blow making up a rumor because June 6th is a Tuesday or some other bullshit.

yeah. that's why I'm kinda worried. there's no guarantee that the album will be out this fall.


P.S. not only did axl say that the album will be out in summer 2001, he also said in 2002 that the album will be out by summer 2003

I think I see a pattern. 2006....
