Chinese Democracy will be one CD.

To be released in "the fall...late fall...definitely this year."

Brian May played on CITR demo, may not be on the finished CD.

There is no reunion.

Brain is still on drums.

There is a new, unannounced 3rd guitarist.

(the other thread is pretty much a running commentary of the entire show, pre- and post Axl - please add the straight-up info. from Axl here to sum up what was said)

Axl felt pressured to do something in 2002. He won't speak of why the tour ended.

Bucket is not in the band and he was just being Bucket.

The 3rd guitarist has nothing to do with the past.

Chinese Democracy will be one album.

Two albums of material have been recorded.  A third is 1/2 completed. (Anyone know how to clarify this?)

U.Y.I. involved "Slash trying to take control of the band, Izzy in his own drug world," and all three of them fighting over completing each other's material.

Brain was in a band back in the day called "Ted Zeppelin" that played Ted Nugent and Led Zeppelin songs.

No joke.

.......and Axl used to pull up to people waiting at bus stops and blast "Dr. Love" by Kiss.

.......they are still deciding which songs will be on the first and second cds.? Axl, "We keep bouncing back and forth".

.......they were working on a new song not yet recorded while rehearsing in New York.

.......Axl seemed aggravated about the leaked demos and said that he has not listened to them.

.......Axl lived in China for 3 months, years ago.

Izzy might show up at the gigs! Axl was hanging out with him recently.

i think we learned that axl has the personality to still make it big today, those stories they told were awesome, it would be great to hear that kind of live unexpected style interview again, but this was just awesome, i hope the future plans about CD and the tour actually happen

Since Axl didn't hear the leaks, we won't necessarily hear these songs in the shows.

Let's hope we get something more than the 2002 setlist.

I can't see a conection here. He only said he didn't hear the leaks, because they are only old demos. This doesn't mean they will not play some of them in the new gigs.

We learned that Sebastian punched Izzy's brother for calling him a homo. Great stuff!

But most importantly, as stated above, we will (hopefully, knock on wood) see Chinese Democracy this fall.  drool

That's the one thing I've been wanting to hear. Axl's own words regarding a release date. I hope it's the real deal this time around.
