Does it have a source (meaning someone's cousin heard a guy on a bus talk about his sister's boyfriend's college roomate saying GN'R would be on the Da Vinci Code soundtrack) or is another one of those rumors where GN'R gets attached to every major film release' soundtrack just because they did T2 and End of Days?

BINGO!!! that is what I am guessing, as for if Guns are on the soundtrack we probably wont know anything until at least some movie trailors start floating around. |

the film will go ahead as planned, all that would happen if losing is some of the movie money will have to go to the other guys and not to dan brown, theres no way they would pull this movie now

All it is is Eric's PGP key from mygnr. Its nothing to get wound up over. He explained it in a post over there that it was just something he was tinkering with.
Again, he said it has NOTHING TO DO with anything GNR related.

I just thought it was pretty cool, so I pointed it out. It would make sense for 'Prostitute' to be on the soundtrack being that it suggests Mary Magdalane was a prostitute in the book. Good book actually.
