Loving The Alien and You Got No Right could have both been taken straight from the last Stone Temple Pilots CD.

If you like those songs, check out Shangri La Dee Da

Agree I think it's 1 of the best songs on the album, has a different sound to the other songs but it's very easy to listen and whilst it sounds a lame description I find it a very peaceful song and quite relaxing.

It states perfectly
How men and women differ
In the way we're built.

We might as well be
Alien to each other
And yet we still love.

We speak the same words
But the meanings don't match up.
"Sometimes"?  "All the time".

"Never" means "maybe".
It's like talking to my wife.
Damn, I love that song.

I absolutely love this song. It's Scott and Slash at their best. Easily as good as anything from STP or GN'R.

It's pretty good. Total Weiland tune. I hear of a lot of Shangri La Dee Da on it.

I do't like the song. It's not even the song, I just don't see how it fits into the album. Every song is a rocker, and then this mellow song. The whole album pumps me up, and then it ends on a yawner.

Fall to pieces is not exactly a rocker. I think it would fall into the category of Radio-Made Pop, personally.  The only song on the album that I'm not crazy about, actually. Despite Slash doing his best to save it -

Tell me you're joking. You can't put this song up there with Sweet Child, NR, Don't Cry, or any of the rocking tunes both bands have done.

It's better than some of the worst songs from GN'R. .ie You're Crazy/Anything Goes.
I guess it's just hard for some people to understand Weiland's lyrical brilliance... the songs also has an awesome solo by Slash. Good song overall.
And about it not fitting the album? I think it's the perfect ending for the album and yet a perfect new beginning for Scott, Duff and Slash.
And I'm moving on...

Cool song.? Underrated Slash solo on it.? I think the best song maybe You Got No Right.

YGNR is great.. Definately one of the best solos on the album..?

I think the solo in YGNR is THE best solo on the album period.
I remember listening to it over and over again when I first got Contraband, it just has such power and emotion to it. It's classic Slash. beer

I'd love to hear more lke that from him on the follow-up.

Yeah dude, 40 seconds of sweetness. Who said there are no solos on Contraband???

I think it is a  great  song, not the best  on the album, but a really strong song. I like it.

this is a really great song i love it...i kind of wore out the whole album but this is the song i still find myself coming back to...fuckin amazing...great melody..great vocal by Scott..

im glad it wasn't released as a single and that it wasn't overplayed or anything like that

what i heard is that they never did, and probably won't do, this song live because it is too personal for Scott
