Cool that they are gonna broadcast it. That means that they are probably gonna get decent sound too. If this is an agreement between Guns and that radio station ofcourse.

I tried to email the radio, but didn't have an answer (I'm brazilian and, of course, I speak portuguese). I'm not so sure they will broadcast the gig rather than only make live reporting...

It will not be broadcasted. I translated the snippet about the NY shows:


In 27th, Guns N' Roses will be the Rock In Rio Lisboa headliners and, between May 12th and 17th, they will play 4 "warm-up gigs" in New York before starting the 2006 European Tour in Portugal.

RFM will be there in friday, May 12th, in the first of the 4 Guns N' Roses gigs on Hammerstein Ballroom to watch the band's new show, trying to talk to Axl Rose and, of course, to tell you everything live.

well, paris 92 was broadcasted live on radio comercial here in Portugal, but that was a pay-per-view.

sorry mean bone, i think voodoo is right, they're just gonna be there, and probably do some live reports during the show (which i doubt since it will be about 3 or 4 am here when the show starts), or talk about it to promote RIR.

now the interesting part is the "axl interview" attempt, this is a sign that he's willing to do some press.
