hell, I would be happy with 8 new tunes and a dozen classics, mixed in with introducing a new guitarist and axl addressing the crowd with humor and some tidbits of new info

if you'll get a show full of songs from cd be prepared to have a very close release date. axl knows how fast the bootlegs of gnr shows spread on the net. so he'll play a lot mote songs from cd once the album is really close of being released

Be outside the Hammestein on Monday, the 15th.  You might not get your boxed set, but it wouldn't shock me to see audio and video boots of Friday's and possibly even Sunday's shows.

it will be released between the monday 5/15 and wednesday 5/17 shows on a TUESDAY(5/16) like every other cd. watch for meet and greet at tower records(no axl though). my uncle is an exec for tower records.

Man it would rock but hate to say it, It ain't gonna happen.  i wonder if axl would really suprise release the cd?  I really don't think that would make any sense for him to do that.  Seriously the whole world has such in interest as to what the fuck this cd is.

they'll be all kinds of boots, you can count on it,  it would be smart of axl to release it to coincide with the tour because of that.  poeple wouldn't bother as much with the boots if they could get the real thing.  boots of shows are kinda cool, but i would much rather have something official, with good sound quality.  i don't really see how people listen to boots, the poor sound quality drives me up a flippin' wall and i have to turn it off.  and that coming from a girl that was raised in the static-y vinyl album days!

will it be on merch tables.........highly unlikely, but would be oh so cool if it were!  someone else mentioned this, or giving them out when you came in the doors, ONE per ticket holder.  and maybe, just maybe, the overly excited guns fans wouldn't riot over them, since everyone would get one. lmao.  the idea of a "tour only" disc would be really cool, and axl wouldn't loose money, since we would all go out and buy the "store" version once it came out too.

But I guess if it's posted often enough SOMEONE will get it right.  Since that's only a couple of weeks to go, we would have had stores already ordering product of course.

Yeah, if we don't get the CD at the first shows, I'm hoping that they announce that we'll be able to buy the CD first thing Tuesday morning.

When I went to see Prince on his last tour, they handed out a copy of the new CD to every ticketholder that entered the arena which was a surprise. Something like that would be great.

Not to get off topic, god forbid , but with the Prince tour it was announced before the tour started that he would be doing that. Still a cool move though.

Most you could probably hope for at the NY shows is MAYBE a CD sampler, like a 2 or 3 track deal.

Oh christ, I couldn't even imagine! I'm sure even the shirts from the NYC shows (if they have just those shows listed) will go for alot.

This is how the riot will start:

At some point during the show Axl will walk off stage and return a few minutes later holding a CD case. He will look into the crowd for a few minutes, raise the microphone to his mouth and say "This is what you have been waiting for.", and toss the case into the crowd. The rest you will see on the morning news
