Im sorry if this has been listen but have any of you checked out the Wikpedia thing on the net about chinese democracy it says that it will be out june 06 2006.... which is weird because it will be 06/ 06/ 06

Yeah...wikipedia is a steaming pile of user editable garbage.

It's nice for some stuff...but it's not real trustworthy on the specifics...especially when it comes to controversial subjects.

That might be a good release date for Slayer, but unless Axl's taken to worshipping the Devil during his hiatus, I think he'd avoid releasing the first album in ages on 666.

I think this is coming from the confusion over the posters that are used to promote the gig in NY at the Hammerstein, someone took a picture of the promotion poster in NY and it was surrounded by a series of other posters that simply said 06/06/06 in big white numbers. Its for some film about the Devil that comes out on that date. There was a thread about it on here a few weeks back!

That would be the one, there is a pic of the promotion poster surrounded by the Omen posters so06mewhere........... i seriously doubt Axl would release his album on 06/06/06!
