I wouldn't think so.  There aren't really any flashes on camera phones, so it probably wouldn't annoy him.

I just know that in the past, cameras at shows was something he was very passionate against. These days camera phones are unavoidable, it wasn't so back in 2002. I just hope he is prepared to swallow the whole issue and let things roll off his back a little more than back in his 20's.

When they played Hong Kong in 2002, during the first song everyone in the arena was snapping pictures with their camera phones and it didnt set Axl off then.

IF it did then he would just have to deal with it, everyone use's camera phones now and you'll always get a good percent of the crowd taken photos at concerts now with there camera phones. And don't you think this topic is abit pointless ?hihi

He seems to be fairly happy to have his picture taken these days.

In Robert John's book he says that he doesn't want to have his picture taken until he gets healthy and himself sorted or something similar.. maybe that time came..

And yeah with cell phones having flash as a standard these days.. I think they would have to be a lot more easy going about it all as it's going to happen.

Cool, that's promising. I would hope that Axl is much older and wiser these days then back in the AFD/UYI era.

Pointless threads are the bread and butter of any popular forum, and as long as they are on topic and have fine folks like you posting in them they will be around for a long time to come. ?Wink

I think its ironic, all handheld cameras are banned from concerts, but cellphones with the camera feature are admissable...? Undecided

I think his main issue with cameras is having pro-semi pro photographers there who will sell the pics to magazines, not fans who just want them for fan-sakes.  the dude in st. louis was with the press wasn't he?

he filmed the show i think, so it`s not very likely he had something to do with the press..

In 2002 I was up front for the second to last concert of the tour (hartford, ct) and before the show we were told 3 things not to do by GnR security..... 1 No middle finger, 2 no shouting for slash, 3 no holding up of cell phones

Eeeeek, that sounds pretty discouraging. Hope he got over that.  Undecided
