I don't know who this guy is, but Slash apparently plays on this guys upcoming album. Taken from blabbermouth.net

SLASH, ZAKK WYLDE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Guest On New DEREK SHERINIAN Album - May 4, 2006

Keyboardist Derek Sherinian (ex-DREAM THEATER, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) will release his fifth solo album, "Blood of the Snake", on July 27 in Europe and August 1 in North American via InsideOut Music (August 23 in Japan via Marquee/Avalon). The CD includes guest appearances by Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES), Billy Idol, Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, OZZY OSBOURNE), John Petrucci (DREAM THEATER), Steve Lukather (TOTO), Simon Phillips (TOTO, THE WHO, JUDAS PRIEST), Tony Franklin (THE FIRM, BLUE MURDER) and Brian Tichy (BILLY IDOL, ex-OZZY OSBOURNE).

Derek Sherininan is a very talented keyboard player (not GN'R-type fake keyboard...), he plays on Dream Theater's A Change of Seasons and Falling into Infinity, and wrote a lot music on one of the best albums ever, DT's Scenes from a Memory. Derek played in numerous other projects as well.

Does he play on The Liquid Tension Experiment album as well?  that band is Dream Theatre minus the singer and is a fucking awesome album as well

No, Jordan Rudess plays keyboard on the LTE albums (Jordan replaced Derek in DT).
