"He's also in Guns and Roses."
That's it? A huge European tour, Rock in Rio, the New York shows...and Rome says that one line when he goes off the air?!? Lame.

He said "of the Replacements and also Guns N' Roses," at the very end. Jim Rome sounds pissed about Paul not calling in.

It's over. Nothing about GNR.
Tommy sounded completely out of it. It was like pulling teeth to get a response out of him (and I'm not talking about GNR). He is either an idiot or was angry about being there. Very uncool.
He should be thankful that someone with Rome's influence is out there touting his new product with the Replacements. He could show his thanks by giving interesting answers (again I'm not talking about GNR).
It seems Tommy, like Axl, have gone completely Rockstar.

Not sure if this was the time to be asking GNR questions although it would've been an added bonus. ?For such a hardcore Mats fan such as Rome, I think GNR isn't much more than an afterthought for him when it comes to Stinson.

He is probably very tired, Guns have been rehearsing for like the past month or so.

See, I disagree.
I think Tommy was pissed that Paul didn't show, as he promised he would, and that sort of left him to hang out on the line.

He very well could've been pissed. It showed that something was distracting him.

It'll fit right in with the rest of the "Best of" material.
It's vintage mats...sounds like they could have recorded it at the same time as Tim...hell, like it could've been ON Tim.
I liked it. Not gonna get many spins, I'll bet, except on the Alternative stations (and maybe not even then...), but for 'mats fans, it's a good one.
