if they dont show and theres a riot they will be sued and a shit and a half load of money would be lost. and on top of that guns n roses would have NO more fans and nobody would give a shit about chinese democracy. But axl likes NYC so id assume he would show up.

well,? i figured 4 shows, 3000 ppl a show, 63 dollars a ticket, so just on face value ticket sales they would have grossed 756,000 dollars.? So for a band that hasnt played in 4 years, and really only played one dynamite show that being the msg show, the fact that 12000 want to see them should be reason enough not to cancel

Exactly my thoughts ok

But with that aside, why all the negativity?....

The storm is getting closer folks...

Just sit back and enjoy the show ok

Who ultimately cares even if theres a third guitarist at this point, hell it could be Teddy Zig Zag for all I care...

Im just glad Axl Rose and Guns N' Fuckin' Roses are back, and I will be there May 12th Cheesy

Why does everyone need to be so pessimist? There are at least half a dozen threads about the "if they cancel..." issue.

See "Philly 2002" ...

I know. And I know about several other shows they cancelled. But the situations are totally different.

Just because it's happened before doesn't mean it'll happen again. Until the whole thing goes through the courts, we won't even know if the band "canceled" Philly or not.

I figured it out for shits and giggles and here's what I got:

$150 for tickets (for 2 w/ service fees and everything)
$150 for gas (based on total milage, mpg and current prices)
$240 for hotel room (2 adults at the Hotel New Yorker)
$100 for food (cheap eats)

If I'm not forgetting anything that puts me at about $640 (low estimates).

I won't have to worry about that though, cuz they're gonna show.
