only that the PRS10 is in a signature style not print other than that no

By "signature style", you mean it's etched onto the disc?

I actually got mine as a trade.  I had two copies of the Appetite album that featured the famous "rape scene" on it.  I had a friend who wanted it pretty bad and was willing to trade it for his "Live Like a Suicide".   I came out pretty good.

Go to www.ttroccoli.com (my website).  Click on the GNR logo.  Once on the new page, click on the LLAS link to see mine.  Then go back and click on the GN'R EP link.  Here you can see and read how to spot a real from a fake.  Sorry, anythinggoes, but the matrix # (PRS-10-1 for side 1) should be machine stamped.  My source for how to tell a real from a fake?  Have a connection at eil.com and they told me.  Will try to get some pics of the matrix #'s; will be hard to do but I'll try.  Also, I have 4 copies of this EP.  3 have the # etched on the disc, and 1 is machine-stamped.  I would say it's more probable that I have one real one and 3 fakes as opposed to 3 real ones, and 1 fake.  ONly 2 places I know to get a real one - eil.com, and a record show that I go to. This guy there always has it but I don't want to pony up the $ for it yet.  We'll see.  Keep trying the website if it doesn't work at first.  If that still don't work, let me know - I can always email the pics to you.  Also, keep checking the site - I am in the process of updating and there will be some real gems up there soon.  Hope this helps!

Thanks. I'm really curious about the machine stamp. I don't think I've seen one before.

Good call about the plastic vs paper sleeve. But mine has the number PRS-10 and it's still a counterfeit, so I think you made a mistake there.

Just added pics of the etched and machine stamped matrix #'s for the Guns N Roses GN'R Japan EP on my website www.ttroccoli.com.  I think that's the best I can do for these pics - hope it helps.

Thanks. Basically, the first one looks like it was carved in with a knife, whereas the second one is cleaner.

For those of you who want one you can get the real thing at eli.com but you must be put on a waiting list and will pay a nice dollar for it.  But, at least you can get the real thing.
