BTW I also don't like New Gnr Haters who hang around new gnr forums.  What's the point in that?

You can't bring back the past by posting on a forum and dissing people who are fans of the new line up

I wouldn't.

All the new GN'R songs (the live ones and the leaked demos) are better than that VR song.

Oh please.
None of them are.

Not one... Infact in my opinion IRS and Better are the only decent ones.
CITR is like a sleeping pill in musical form and TWAT has the worst chorus of all-time.

Madagascar and The Blues are awesome songs though... It's just hard to compare them to a hard rocking song like Slither.

Funny how there's more GN'R in Velvet Revolver then there is in Guns N' Roses.

I'm sure Axl can sing Slither just fine but I would not like to hear him sing it.

it would be a cool idea, but i think about it like this.? the new gnr songs are better then vr's songs, although slither and set me free are good but theyre made for scott wieland to sing, those songs are too slow for axl, im not saying axl cant sing slow songs, but those are vr's rock songs.? scotty sings its so easy, but he couldnt do scom or wttj.? so id rather not see axl lower his singing ability to do a VR song

Scott can't sing a sad song?  That statement is the riot of which you speak.  Check out Adhesive or Atlanta from STP, and eat your words.

Adhesive Love is one of the saddest songs ever in rock history. I think Scott Weiland is an excellent musician. I'm a huge Velvet Revolver fan as well as a Guns fan.

I don't know what everyones problem with VR or Scott Weiland is. I know a lot of you have made reference to the fact that he's a former junkie and whatnot, but if you listen to the album, he sings about his drug abuse and pain that stemmed from it. I'm not saying he's a model citizen, but he's a rock and roller...how many rockers did drugs?

I'd love to see what would have happened to the Beatles if they said no to drugs...would they be regarding as the legends they are today?

...Anyway, as said before, Axl shouldn't do a VR song, but I think he could tackle Interstate Love Song or Plush pretty well.

It's a medioker song and I don't even think Axl writing new lyrics  to it would save it

All this discussion about Axl and Scott has me wondering: do you think he'll say something about Velvet Revolver during one of the shows?? I've always wondered what Axl thought about VR anyway; it'd be really cool to see if he makes fun of them or praises them or even acts as if they exist.

Slither is cracking song , not the best but anyone saying its crap really shouldnt be posting in a music related forum!!

At the end of the day I look at it like this: Here in the U.K hearing rock music on the Radio & T.V is rare and To be honest I would listen to anything other than the crap they put out on air !!!

Thats means if I has a choice between Madonna or Metallica , Take that or Tesla - I would listen to the rock track and enjoy the fact that its rock and im listening to it rather than 90% crap that is aired!!!

Rock Is Rock in my book- and to a true fan none of it is crap !!

Having said that I know that in some areas you have Rock Stations so dont have my problem!! and to those people I salute you!!!!! peace And may you continue to be selective !!!!!

I really liked, and still like set me free.  It was their first single and I was hoping a lot of other tracks would be that rocking, but they weren't unfortunately.    I think VR is better in person than on that recording, at least seeing slash and duff rock out is cool

i like all of the VR songs but most have sub-par vocals on them. I would not like to hear axl sing slither because it's not a unique sound so it would sound so similar to the way it is.
