u can buy pre AFD LLAS dvds, i saw one going around on ebay i think, in manchester in 85 i think, it was before axl had his AFD tattoo

They were never in Manchester in 85. They only reached england in 87 and it took till 92 to get to manchester

I had a video on my old comp. of the band preforming Sweet Child O'Mine back in there club days before they were big and before Axl had the AFD tattoo... According to the title the show was in England in 1985. The song was so much diffrent... Well, atleast the Slash's part was.

During the Verses Slash just played the opening riff over and over again... On his Black BC Rich Warlock.

Oh. and Axl was wearing Assless pants.

are you sure??there was a flyer that was advertising manchester 87 it must be, before afd was released, touring with faster pussycat i think, because i think it was in 'the band time forgot' book

I saw them several times in 86/87 before the big explosion. I worked in the music biz during that time. They were quite amazing compared to all the other crap that was going on during that time.

thank you for that droezle, i knew they went to manchester before 92.axl had his tattoo then ?? i always thought AFD was released on 31st of september. where did i get that from??

I don't know, maybe because Appetite was released on that date in Europe but i'm not 100% sure about that. The release date that i added was the U.S. release date. Axl already had his cross tattoo back then during the European tour. It was tattood on his arm during or after the recordings of Appetite.
