We need a soundboard recording of it.   Why the hell are the rio people so bad at mixing live audio?  Sonofabitches.

Also Cjc... with your ear judging the live and the recorded. Do you think the band skipped a bar or ended a bar early?

The band missed a bar just before the music starts to climax at the end, as they do end up on the right note for the end, but just a bar early

(this mess up kinda makes axl sound stupid carrying on singing lol)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GFVAGC2O

Mistake or not I thought this was a better ending than the original/album ending.

That's what I was thinking.  See it woulda been cooler if it was the other way around then they'd be more in tune and shit.

I think the band ended the song early - and I think it makes Axl sound horrid  Shocked  Yeah!  I said it Horrid.  Don't label me an Axl hater because I don't agree with the people that think it makes him sound great.

That being said - Somebody fucks up the end of Patience (either the band or Axl) but either way I think it's my favorite version of Patience - and I think Axl did a great job of covering up for who ever mae the mistake.  My gut tells me that Axl lost track of where the song was because he was running into the crowd and his ear piece was in and out - but the outtro is great! - I love how axl scream ahhhh this tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmee - I think it's around 5:25 in the RIR3 version

Anyway - my 2 cents

Dude, I think that was intentional.? I thought it was cool.

Me too. In fact I think it was planned that way lol.

Axl made it great finishing the song like that, even if it was a "mystake"

What? The band did not ended the song early. Axl just sings a verse that wasn't supposed to be there.. When it goes to the ending, Axl tried to sing the right words, but it was already out of the regular tempo.. That's why the instrumental ends and he was still singing.

Of course it was not intentional. And it was Axl mistake, not the band. That's why I prefer the HOB version (or the studio/demo version)...

It sucks when you read an entire thread just waiting to get to the end to post something, and you find the last post in the thread is exactly what you were going to post.

Anyway, that's correct.  ok
