Because no one has updated the registration/who is info in a dogs age.

You don't have to....as long as you continue to pay your renewal fee....you can leave the old info there and never change it.

www.gnronline.com is owned by Universal/Interscope/Geffen. ?It is the labels band site.

www.gunsnrosesonline.com is owned and operated by a Belgian fan. ?It is a fan site! ?You can confirm that with a quick whois check, among other things (combing through the way back machine/ internet archive).

Yeah, gunsnrosesonline.com even uses Belgian Name Servers.  The site is hosted in Belgium, apparently.

I really don't think it a belgian, doesn't anyone know him??? isn't that strange for such a big fan, if he made this site, he must have made some other gnr related art???

I emailed him a LONG time ago (in late '02 or early '03) and got a response.

The registration information has not changed in all this time.

Even then, he had been mucking with Flash content on the site.

You could try to email him at webmaster@gunsnrosesonline.com  I'm pretty sure that was the email addy (or something like it) that was up oh so long ago.

Yup, and look at the domain servers.

Same place they've always been.  Belgium.

The fact he used domainsbyproxy when he renewed his registration doesn't mean all that much.  Lots of people do, now, with the new regs.

If you're talking about the email addy...the contact addy I gave was one I remember being ON the site, not in the registration info.
