I was definitely hoping to be there for the 1st of 2 shows when I got the 15th tickets, but now obviously it will be the 3rd of 4 -

Have to say I'm just a little bumbed, but not that big a deal -  Lips Sealed

Unfortunately this is how things work these days. They did that for Bon Jovi when they annoucned the first date at the new Wembley Stadium, then later added another date in front of that. Well that'll gone to pieces now anyway, and I was gonna go Tongue

I have tickets for the 15th.  Would have preferred it to have been the first show, but hey, no big deal.  I'm still getting to see GNR Smiley

Yeah, I had planned to try and make it to the 15th.  I was excited if i was able to go to be at the first show.  And I could have gotten tickets for the 12th but I am doing something more important to me that night.  So I'll be at the 14th (Hopefully)

So yeah it does suck cuz I tried so hard 1 sec after tickets went on sale to get them, but I'm not gonna cry about.  I'm still going to G n' F'n R.

I can understand your disappointment but I think we should be thrilled after the years of inactivity.

I was upset too they put the new shows first, but I think they did it so all the scalpers would get tix for the 3rd and 4th shows  and the fans would be able to get the first two shows. IT was much easier getting tix for the first two shows on ticketmaster than it was for the 3rd and 4th shows

They were set to be the first to perform at the new Wembley Stadium (they were the last at the old) but as it won't be ready in time, they are now playing at Milton Keynes.

What about all those of us who got tickets for Rock In Rio Lisbon?

It's now the fifth show but you don't see us complaining....  Tongue

They didn't market the show on the 15th as a premiere or the first show of the tour so you can't really blame them.

That's how shows are often announced. A promoter will announce a show and then a few weeks later another one will announce a show before the previously announced one.

I was upset at first, but now I dont care as long as they show up.  It almost made sense to add the shows the 12th and 14th.  When they first put the 15th and 17th on sale, it was a monday night and a wednesday night, they sold out in 3 mins.  Then they add a Friday and saturday show, sell out in minutes again.  But if they were to put the 12th and 14th first, there might not have been the rush to get tix for the 15th and 17th.  So the saw the 15th and 17th were sold out, and I think because of the sales they added the 12th and 14th. But that was all planned, they didnt just spring up that idea the day tix went out sale.  So no big deal as long as they show up on the 15th and play it's all good

I'm fine with it. Never would complain. I just thought it'd be cool to hear if anyone else was feeling the same way beer
