I am going to do my best to update people during the show on the 12th.  Probably through texting for.. obvious reasons.  I'm still working out the details.  If I can somehow score a TMobile MDA before the show, then my updates will be more verbose.

What time does the show kick off? And what time would this be in UK time. I might have to stay up late that night to find out the GN'R info first-hand!

I almost ended up in London, that's why I will not be at the show (sulk). I go there about 7 time/year with work to meet with Lloyd's of London.

I thought UK time = NY time PLUS six  So 10 pm in NY would be 4 pm in London. What time does the show start in Hammerstein?

NYC = Eastern time which is GMT -5:00.

London time = GMT exactly (well, GMT + 1 right now because they are on Summer time).

It's 7:36 PM in London, right now, I think.

It's 2:36 in NYC right now.

The night of the shows, the doors will open around 7:30 PM NYC time, or about 12:30 AM London time.

Assuming Axl is on stage around 10 PM NYC time, he'd be on stage about 3 AM London time.

you can count me out. why the big secret. if cd is finished and being mastered why not break the news. if the cd cover has been designed why isn't it on the Geffen web site. It's all pointing to cd isn't quite finished yet

I just think Axl's gunshy about saying anything. I mean after the VMAs he actually said "You'll see it, I don't know if 'soon' is the word" and he STILL got shit for there being no CD. If I was him, I'd keep my trap shut too until things were 100% ready.

I like it. But only....and only because there's a huge chance Axl will talk about stuff at the NYC shows. So that's like only two weeks away.

It doesn't bother me anymore... it's what makes GN'R... GN'R. Let all the other bands be the nicely polished up media whores that they are... Part of the "charm" of going to a GN'R show... or just generally following the band... is not having a fucking clue as to what's going on...
