since slash knows about it and has commented on it to Mr. Halfin i think it's safe to say the we'll get some sort of GH type of thing.... just because various european universal offices don't know anything doesn't mean it won't show up.... why would european braqncehs know anything in the fisrts place?

According to the Velvet Rope, which does have insiders at the record companies, the album was on Geffen's release list last week for Dec 20th. It has since been pulled. End of discussion. Nothing coming out. Hopefully they pulled it in favor of an early 06 Chinese Dinner.

I've looked through the thread and all I've found is the cduniverse link...now, admittedly, I could be missing them (there's lots of ground to cover in this thread).

I know Amazon has nothing, and at least one very large chain and one medium sized chain don't have ANYTHING on their release schedule from GnR.

Well, I think everything will become clear probably after the holiday this week. But if the Velv. Rope is saying it's pulled, and no major retail chains have confirmed it, my guess is it's done for this year. Doesnt mean Axl is delivering CD either. Could be that Uni realized it was just too short a time period to get a product out and advertised for the holidays. Also, I doubt it has anything to do with Slash and Duff, b/c if you read Halfin's comments it seems as though Slash was resigned to this thing coming out. My guess is by next week we know one way or the other.

2) He still wont, the company will release another GH in 06 which means you can start the Cd in 07 threads
