Maybe the Very Best of GNR is Greatest Hits Vol 1 & 2 together..... and for those who bought GH Vol 1 Geffen is releasing separately the Vol2....

Or it may be that GHVol 1 & GH Vol2 the tracklist is selected from Geffen and The Very Best of GNR (2CD) the setlist is selected by W.Axl.Rose & his Management...

Or the GH Vol 2 is truly the Continuation of GH and the Very Best of GNR is The actual code name for Chinese Democracy and comes in 2 CDs Grin

right now that seems more logic than anything else, noone releases like four GH, with les than four original albums out...

As I understand it from people that would know (higher ups in the Best Buy food chain), there will be no release in December.  Their speculation is GH2 in March, possible CD release in May/June.  Take that for what its worth, but I trust that the info I was told is true.

This is like an episode of Twin Peaks.

Or rather a twin hearted turkey.  hihi

A traditional X-mas dinner with all the trimmings (traditional save for the fact that the turkey had TWO hearts, a little detail that I wouldn't be able to share with you had Axl's people convinced me to sign a confidentiality agreement) was served well after midnight, and then around 3:00 AM (if memory serves me right) lots of presents under the tinsel-festooned tree were opened (many of them being of a robotic nature).

That was an interesting posting by toolband.com. wasn't it.

"A turkey with 2 hearts" - 2 disc album
"Well after midnight" - For sale way past the deadline for retail christmas releases
"Around 3:00 AM" - Over 2hrs of music (2 completely full cds = 2hrs 40 minutes)
"Many being of a robotic nature" - Buckethead's quirky guitar style

peace

Again i think we're just trying to make something positive outta nothing....but...we'll find out for sure in a month ok
