i guess it aint normal to release singles on Greatest Hits records.. But whats "normal" when it comes to GNR?

Wouldn't this be a golden opportunity to promote the new album by putting a new unheard track at the end of the compilation, something like:

"An exclusive preview from the forthcoming new release from Guns N' Roses, the most anticipated rock album of all time - Chinese Democracy."

I think Maddy would be a great choice.

I have a feeling nothing is going to come out on Dec 20th. Seems like they are just cramming something in before Christmas. They need to do a "best of" right. Good liner notes-pics-unreleased material. The old band deserves a real good and proper send off.

i found out (when i was searching for other releases, not gnr, in the last two years) that cduniverse.com is always the first to put the info for new releases online, and that their info are very reliable n accurate

note that gh vol.2 is 1 disc, and the very best of are 2 discs
and the CDU part of each release

Or the 2CD version is just GH1 from last year and GH2 from this year. Just a nice package for Christmas. But maybe GH1 was released by Universal?

So is what slash said true then? GH1 is the peice of shit from last year, GH2 is Axl's selection and WTTJ:TVBOGNR ( ) is both together? Or what the fuck is on the second disk of WTTJ:TVBOGNR? (rerecorded AFD? how cool would that be?)

The way I read Slash's comment was that there would be a "greatest hits two" (Geffen's Tracklist)

and "a Very Best of" (Axl/Sanctuary's tracklisting)

I just didn't think that they would both see the light of day (if cduniverse is correct with the dates). I figured Geffen threatened him with a second GH release, then Axl said well if thats what you want I'll give you a greatest hit's and put together his own track list.
