so, this could be the only reason to Tommy put that "GNR news coming soon" on his site, Merck saying "this will be the year of GNR" ( maybe he did meant that ?till the end of the year they will announce the new track on the da vince code and then the greatest hits 2 together ) ... and... that?s it!! Sad

maybe CD is not ready yet..........? confused

I dont think Tommy would have mentioned the news if it was going to be negative, ie not about his involvement in Guns n Roses. I know its wishfull thinking but he was probably told that something with CD would happen through Axl or another band member, hence their silence, because they actually know something and have been told to shut up! Tommy mentioned it on his site without giving any details, not knowing that Universal, Sanctuary or even Axl were going to disguise it as a greatest hits package. God im turning into a conspiracy theorist, make it stop!

well, as treated as we gnr-fans get, what else could happen than becoming a conspiracy theorist? there's misinformationen, silence, damn rumours, tiny little bits of possibilities...

i agree, with this tommy announcement of possible news regarding gnr in the future, merck not denying the davincicode-rumour und not denying the GH2-"news", something muste be going on, and not something bad.

somethings coming...the first clouds are there, so let the storm begin! Wink

Just received this email from my friend:

I heard on the radio that Geffen records is putting Chinese Democracy on the shelves March 6 2006

We are in New Zealand btw

Could be something, it would be unusal over here for a DJ to state an internet rumour as fact, not to mention that CD was specifically mentioned and not GH2

Yeah, guess its already monday in NZ. Radio stations are really surfing alot on the internet waves! And i guess they visit htgth also  peace

yeah I think so, from what I can remember?
usually stock arrives on saturdays from memory (i worked in a CD shop when I was at uni) with it officially released on the Monday
