I don't really care, already have the albums.. Greatest Hits albums are just shit according to me.. But they are good for the people that wants to get into GN'R..
Yup...I can thank my parents for that.
And if theres a second version, I'm gonna get it.

TheGauntlet.com is reporting Geffen Records has
officially announced
that the latest from Guns N' Roses will finally hit the stores March 6th.
(...)
The latest update on the story is Geffen Records says it's all untrue, even though
the source of the information originally came from a Geffen employee (in another country)
...so, go figure.
Weird!!!
Is this Geffen empolyee the only source for all those sites? So, how come this is "officially announced"??

This is crazy guys. Honestly.. im thinking it was an intentional leak. One "mysterious employee"... "leaked news"... Geffen is "trying to shut people up"... it sounds too suspicious.. maybe this is really it. Maybe not.
But in all honesty guys.. the reason i haven't really commented up till now.. is because i honestly CANNOT comprehend this. It seems like a big dream to me.. and im starting not to care.
The day I see GH2 on the shelfs.. man. i dont even know.. lol

That make no sence?
February 6th? Axl Bithday?
Close, but no cigar.
Try again.
H?h! June 6th! No, there is NO hidden message
No, there is one, but it's not hidden very good.
Dec. 6, 2002
Who cares? Who knows? Who would get it?
It's a wind-up or a cover-up. Too much conincidence.
There won't be a GH Vol. 2 this year.
We will have nothing or the album we are waiting for, but no GH.
No fact, just my $0.02
2002? That makes no sence!
Conny you're gonna have to break this one down for me.
December 6th 2002, the day of the Philly riot.....
Congrats, 100 points!

16 pages , and I aint backtracking all of em to see if this has been mentioned , but ...
we all know NOBODY from the original band was happy with the tracklisting of the 1st greatest hits .. so maybe , just maybe GH PT 2 is being forced by Slash and Duff and maybe even Axl so that they can have a say in the tracklisting this time around?
Maybe it's a way to get "evrything" out there now so that it doesnt have to be done a year or two down the road?
Maybe it's another attempt to recoup money from the democracy sessions?
Maybe , just maybe it's a FAKE rumor?!
IT aint keeping me up at night regardless.

I know Tommy?s in GNR for years... but do you think that what he wrote in his site (
"I'm told there may be news on the GNR front coming soon, but til it's formal and written in at least pencil my lips are sealed. Sorry........Stay tuned."
) have something to do with this GH II thing? If you think "right", he doesn?t have anything to do with this Guns "work"... and I don?t remember reading all the others members ( BH, Finck. Tommy, Brain ) saying something about GH I and Live Era when these 2 records were on the way...

Precisely. I am leaning toward fake rumor at this point.

How bout the GH volume 2 being versions of WTTJ,SCOM,PC,RQ,Brownstone,YCBM,NR etc etc by the NEW BAND
we already know they re recorded Appetite and were rehearing illusion songs
so why not?
that would be kinda cool, a Greatest Hits but featuring the New Gnr versions.

Come on.? You people really think this is a "cover-up" for the release of CD?? For one, isn't GNR under contract to release "so many" albums? ....? and that hasn't been fulfilled.? This is one way of forcing an album out to help fulfill that contract, when CD and other future albums has not yet been released.? Second, former members and Axl were not happy about the release of greatest hits volume 1 and the songs that were included on it.? Maybe this is the release of songs they would like to have seen included on a greatest hits album, and they worked together on this (through telephones & reps of course) to compile something they were happy with.? Personally, I think that is all we are going to see from this announcement - Greatest Hits Vol II.

My guesses (without reading through the 16 previous pages)...
1) They could be releasing a Greatest Hits CD with a couple of new tracks, giving up the new songs to keep the fans and the label happy while Axl buys time to finish the rest of the record.
2) It could be the new band's versions of the old songs.
3) It's sabre rattling by the label -- 'hey Axl, we're releasing
something
March 6' (which could mean a combination of things including all the other scenarios, or even the new CD. if he delivers it)
4) It's a chance for the band to do it the way they wanted to do it in the first place (although this is unlikely without some version of some previously re-released hits)

Just a small mention, Finnish paper ( Iltalehti ) has a news concerning The Greatest Hits 2. Article says that new Greatest Hits 2 is coming in stores in March 2006. It also mentioned that Geffen wants? money from Greatest Hits album, becouse Chinese Democracy isnt coming yet.

dunno if this had been posted, although excited i can't be bothered to go through 16 pages of conversation...
Brendan Morris, a tape researcher at Universal credited on the first Guns N'Roses Greatest Hits album, has confirmed to Splat that Universal are looking to put together a second Guns N'Roses Greatest Hits package.
However, whilst it is clear that something is going on at Universal, there is reason to believe that there may be more to this situation that meets the eye.
It is also worth noting that Sanctuary are refusing to comment on this at the current time.

It is funny... I have to admit that...
But if I send them a burned dvd of a movie (which was amazing by the way) and a burned cd of BB King's music I bet they'll be dissapointed...
