I love good comedies. My favourite comedian is Lenny Henry. The funniest TV show i';ve seen is My Family or Blackadder Goes Forth. And i think Ant and Dec are funny tv presenters.

so what ya guys think?

I'm partial to a little bit of David Spade. I've started watching "Just Shoot Me!" on Channel 4 just for his lines despite it being such a shite show.

Well my fav TV comedy has gotta be Fraiser.... sooooo funny! Niles is just THE funniest character ever!! rofl Especially in that Valentines Day episode, and there's this 5 minute silent bit where Niles is waiting for his wine club to come over and he's wearing a suit and he sees a crease in the pants, so he takes them off to iron them. Cue a whole long hilarious scene.... hihi

And my favorite comedian is Bill Hicks... RIP BILL!! My favorite ALIVE comedian is either Bill Bailey or Jack Dee... both HILARIOUS! rofl

Favourite comedy is Seinfeld... total classic.  The situations those 4 get into is phenomal.  And the situational irony of it all is hilarious.

A close second is the recently cancelled Arrested Development.  Not a lot of people watched the show because they didn't get it.  I think it might have been too difficult to follow for casual viewers.  I watched it every week and ended up with the DVDs and the show is one of the most intelligent things ever put together.  I urge everyone to check it out, but please, start from the beginning.

I also like Curb Your Enthusiasm.  Completely hilarious and the dialogue is improvised.  Almost like a real-life Seinfeld.

Finally, for those of us who like the Canadian comedies, how can I leave out Corner Gas?  hahaha... it's entirely too Canadian, but the one-liners are great.

Favourite stand-up comedians?  Jerry Seinfeld (observations can't be beat), Mitch Hedberg (stoner observations are funny too), and Robin Williams (totally crazy on stage, everyone should check out Live on Broadway).

A close second is the recently cancelled Arrested Development.

That show is fantastic! I think that it's probably the closest to British humour that the American's have done, it's pretty dry. As with Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is of course far superior. And given that Arrested Development is amazing...

Favourite stand-up comedians?  Jerry Seinfeld

Nah. He's all right but, strictly as a comedian, he's second rate.

Finally, for those of us who like the Canadian comedies ...

... Not much point reading any further, then.

I like The Day Today, onto Brass Eye and through to Alan Partridge... Mighty Boosh, Spaced and Green Wing... The great Americano's: Third Rock From the Sun, Seinfeld and Curb... Some of the obscures, Directors Commentary and Look Around You... The oldies, a bit of the circus... Peter Cook, Dudley Moore... The Young Ones and Bottom... Not the Nine O' Clock News, The Fast Show, Harry Enfield (before he turned crap)...

Eddie Izzard, Ricky Gervais, Frank Skinner.

Speaking of Ricky Gervais actually, I saw his Simpsons episode yesterday. Rubbish!

The Catherine Tate Show, too. That's rubbish as well.
