Great news! I was going to Portugal to watch England in Euro 2004 in June 04, guess I'll have to visit a bit earlier!

I expect that this will be the first of a few concerts announced in Europe. Play Portugal, UK and a couple more. I'd guess that the album will be out in early 2004 so they can get the album promotion work out of the way, release some singles before heading out on tour again.

Besides, didnt Tommy say they were going on tour in the summer in a recent interview?

this is great news especially for the portuguese people, who I think were the first to announce this great event.  Anyone going?  beer  The one thing that would be great is if someone made arrangements to get discounted airfares for this event. This way everyone could go, perhaps a charter.

I'm glad you guys are trippin' out over a GnR announcement to play a gig 7 months from now. GnR managed to ruin their last tour in its midst.  I'd say there are pretty good odds they can F this one up too with 7 months lead time.

I'll be seeing Slash, Duff, and Matt on 11/15 in LA and saw them with Izzy two weeks ago.  Now THAT was a rock show.

Until Axl's crew releases CD, I could care less. If you wanna go see old bands made up of retread lineups playing old songs, go check out Skid Row.

Yea I agree... I mean i'm one of the biggest supporters of axl around here... but a one off gig 7 months from now BIG FUCKING DEAL!!

Unless Chinese democracy is released before then axl is just making himself look like an even bigger jackass.

Last year was the time to release this thing... why start the chinese democracy world tour and not release an album... then abort the tour never to be heard from???

If axl wants to reclaim his rock n roll throne he has to do it through new music... not by playing appetite and 'new' songs that are 4 years old already...

snap out of it... shut the fuck up... and put out an album

Until then he is only giving the critics more ammo... there comes a point when too much suspense isn't a good thing... people just get pissed off
