I'm sure its safe to assume that both the 15 and 17 shows are sold out...the 12 and the 14 might still have tickets available.

Congrats to everyone who got tickets, and a huge kudos to management. I have gone to a lot of concerts, and have never seen brokers hit this bad. They went above and beyond for us, and I am certain this is the dawn of a new era for GNR, i think axl is gonna show for all dates, and i really think we will see chinese democracy this year. See all you crazy gunners in NYC soon. Oh and for the record, Intensity was right AGAIN. i doubted him too, Mr. I, if you are at the pre party on the 17th, i owe you a drink man.

I think they all went on sale at 10, like the other shows, and im pretty sure ticketmaster is now sold out.

did all of you get your tix now`? what exactely happened?

Everything went according to plan... and EVERYBODY got tickets.

Brokers had no idea this event was going on, it wasnt put into the system until 5 min before hand.

Oh sorry about the confusion,
I checked for tickets for the 12th at 6am west coast time which is 9am New York.
Out of curiousity I checked back at 6:30 west coast time and there were tickets available.

I guess you didn't go through the pre-sale then?

I wasn't looking for actual tickets (I have tix to the 15th already).  I was just trying to see how they were selling, and when they'd sell out.

So you checked at 6:30 west coast, which is 9:30 east coast.  The sell out occured when they went on general sale at 7 am west coast, or 10 AM east coast...or just after that actually.

Correct.

The 12th, 15th and 17th were all sold out by 10:00:45. 


The 14th held out until 10:05:40-ish.

Just before the general sale, at about 9:50 AM, the 12th was selling 2nd Mezz seats, but the 14th still had floor seats.

I was almost postive the 2nd shows were a scam. ?Great move by management. ?Good to see the loyal fans being taken care of like this. ?It is pretty cool to think that a nice percentage of the crowd will be fellow forum members.

That's the only thing that im dissapointed in, it would be great to be at a show almost completly full of members, but i'm sure a lot of you will be there the 17th as well. I am certainly glad more people will get to go now.

It was a very good job by management- brokers had NO idea. Proof of this is that there was no listing of these tickets on Ebay BEFORE the actual sale date.

I think he meant that, prior to the shows actually going on sale, he thought they weren't going to happen and were made up.

I certainly thought they were a crock. But im glad members who missed out will now get to go.

I think that the 4 shows selling out so quick, if these shows had actaully been advertised even with a few radio ads, yes it would have. But then again i don't know how many seats MSG has

well i look at it like this 4 shows, 3000 a show, thats 12000 fans which sold out in under 30 total minutes, so add two more shows, i think theyd sell out too so theres 18000 which is almost equivalent to an arena, i think its amazing that this band who hasnt played in 4 years can sell out like this
