Here we go with this woe is me NYC crap, I could care less where anyone lives. And the whole "my own town" crap, new jersey is not NYC, so is really doesn't apply. The less obnoxious new yorkers the better.

Wouldn't it been better, if there was a website where you needed the password to acces (which would be sended ~day before), and inside the website is the password to buy the ticket? And you wouldn't been able to acces the website untill 1 hour before the sale begins?
I guess it could prevent few scalpers  Roll Eyes

Would have been better if everyone had been sent a unique one-time password.

Would've, could've, should've....

Ye, ie. username: your email, password: the unique password of your own.
but as you said, should've and could've I guess..  Tongue

yeah I had made that suggestion earlier but apparently ticketmaster is setup to only accept 1 password. It would be nearly impossible to have multiples

Sucks we can't buy them in person, just online. The sites always crash when you try to get tickets during presales.
I wish it were the old days, of waiting in line Smiley

We don't care.

It's not about GN'R, it's not about the NYC shows, it's not about the pre-sale....

well heres the thing for everyone bitching about the presale.  with the kindness of this forum, mysteron, and gnr mngment, its a great step in the right direction for fan/band interaction.  unfortunately, ticketmaster is set up to use a single password.  the "presale" idea is not unique to gnr.  honestly i doubt they care that people are worried that others will use the pass.  its business. i still believe if the tix are limited to 4 per person, we'll be ok.  as long as no 8-12 ticket orders are processed, we should be fine, even with scalpers.
