Why did I get the 9 am password in an email account which was not signed up for the forum members?

with people coming from all over the place coming to see this its going to sell as fast as the U2 ticket for 6 concerts in Boston. and that fleet center can fix like 15.000 people in it and sold out in 3mins all six shows.

What they should have done is sent out a fake password that is unique to everyone.  That way the people that were going to leak it would leak it and then they could get removed from the mailing list....

I think that they are going to enough trouble by doing the pre pre sale, so I'm thankful for that at least.

I have a feeling i should've put in that I have been a member of the GN'R Bar since 2001 because I've been here since then under Slash_is_God I had to re-register in 2004. I guess they cutdown the list and only the older forum members got the email? I mean damn I was even a member at 2000 intentions and chinesedemocracy.com back in the day! I don't post much in this section because i post mostly at the GN'R Bar for new gnr.

I may not be able to go.  cos the direct flights that are realistically priced are all gone. Ny is like a half a world away but I can't take more than 3 day offs in a raw. I may not the biggest fanatic of the old band or Axl fan but I believe I'm the biggest fan of todays and future GNR. and I am missing this greatest opening ceremony of the century I'm given the chance to be in. Still I'm trying to work it.

What was that? It was the same poster as the one with the 9am presale pass. But it said the presale was 11am-1 then where it has the password on the other email it just had a black part that said nothing.

Yep, me too. I don't get it. It reads "presale 11-1" but doesn't have the password?? Duhhh, huh? Am I missing something?

lol doesn't mean I don't love the new band to death. I've met each member. Have been to countless dizzy, tommy, richard and buckethead shows and Axl is by far my favorite frontman of all-time

It's just a shame that the password was sent out too early and not to everyone on the mailing list, and that there is noone around now to change anything

Nevermind. Tune in before the pre-sale tomorrow. For those that think they should be on the list, but missed the password, PM me tomorrow.

There may or may not be some last minute changes. I do not know.

  hey guys, this may be a bit off topic, but does anyone know the exact seating arrangement for the show??  Are all tickets going to be GA??  I remember seeing that tickets were listed at $65 and at $63.  Any info is appreciated

i talked to a guy who said hes been the hammerstein, he said its standing room on the bottom floor and holds almost 4000. the balconies are bench seating.

I think it's all GA. ?I read one place seats were $65 day of the show (if that's at all possible).

4000 on the floor and another 1000 or so in the balconies.  That makes 5000.  Sounds a little better than the 2000-3000 total I thought could fit earlier in the week.

If you don't get tickets to the first 2 shows, I know that at least 2 more shows are going to be added. Kind of like what happened when The Strokes played there.

I still can't believe I haven't gotten the email.... What shocks me even more is no one is saying well if you are a known established long time member have no fears you will get the password regardless.. That is the let down truly, shit happens you don't get the email, but mods or even admin should make sure long time posters aren't going to get shut out in their own city...

rancid this is another reason I didn't want a new password, I can't even get my first email....

yeah I live in North Jersey 20mins from new york city. People within a 100m radius of Hammerstein should get 1st dibs   It would be disasterous if people get shutout in their own town lol
