OK, let's fastforward to tomorrow.  If some of us miss on tickets during the pre-pre-pre-sale, is a password required for the Ticketmaster or LiveNation pre-sale beginning at 11 a.m.?  Or does on just have to be logged onto either website to participate?

I've got a question: Can anyone use a printed ticket or do you need to have photo ID or anything? ?I might not be able to make the presale but I'm going to get a bunch of friends to try to get tickets. ?IF one of them gets it and uses a dif credit card number or something, can I use the tickets even though my name/CC number aren't on it?

BTW, if my friends get more tickets then I need, I'll be seeling them here at cost.

(Just to remind people that there is a service charge of like $3 so don't be mad if people are selling them for $66 or something slightly above the listed price)

Only $3? Usually it'll be about $8-$12 more with Ticketmaster. I wouldn't be surprised if those $63 tickets cost you at least $71.

Someone would be around here (meaning HTGTH) about 20 min or so before 11 AM.

Mr I has promised to share the password with forum members via PM around that time, and others on the board have volunteered to help him out, if need be.

I agree...but I don't.

See, the thing is...to see GnR in such a small, intimate venue is unusual, at best.  They don't do shows like this often.  So demand is going to be high, anyway.

So, yes...the fact Axl has been so scarce and we don't know if we'll ever get a US tour (I think we will) factors in.  But add to that the venue and environment they're playing....

They could sell out 2 straight WEEKS of shows at the Hammerstein.

Not doubting, but remember people want to be teh first to these shows.. People want to see the band, hear possible new material, hear about cd, maybe see the third player, crazy reunion talks, etc.. This is way more then a big name playing a small venue.. There's knowledge to be aquired, thing sto be seen, years of forum BS coming down to one night..

I was under the impression that the passwords were going to be unique to each person. I have never seen a ticket sale run like that before, but hey this is Gn'R. With all this leaking, it appears that any scalper (asshole) can log on and get into the 9-11 am presale.

One more question. Does anyone know if it is too late to sign up for the 11-1 presale through livenation. I see nowhere on that site to sign up for anything, except the mailing list?

Great Job to all who are trying to get this password out of the hands of these dicks. The only way I see things working out for us now is if we get a new password for the 9-11 pre/pre-sale tomorrow at about 8:30! Mysteron, Jarmo, Somebody!Anybody! Does this seem like something that can/will happen?
