First question...last I heard the presale was going to be prior to 11am Thursday...why was the password even given out this early?

I don't have the patience to read through the last ten pages concerning this leak. But what I fail to understand is why some people got it and others didn't. I have Yahoo mail and I didn't get it. Other Yahoo users did. Was this a lottery?

Regardless...the tickets haven't gone on sale yet (or was that ANOTHER item I, a member of HTGTH since Axl's mug shot graced the home page and '2000 Intentions' was the unofficial album title, was not privy to?). Why not change the password, email it out at the top of the preceding hour to the presale and add an additional hour to the presale to allow for digital lag time?

I apologize for my accusing tone to those that have worked to get this thing up and running and to those working to fix the situation (I hope you exist), but if this 'pre-sale' doesn't work out, it might actually give the scalpers the ADVANTAGE of gathering more tickets than if we didn't have a 'pre-sale' at all.

Once again, I apologize if I've offended those that have worked hard to help us GN'R fans attain tickets to the show that might very well be THE GN'R show of all time. I'm sure you understand our frustrations and are doing all you can to resolve the situation.

problem with the whole "release an hour before the presale" is that some of us aren't getting the email!!?!?!     I would chop off my own balls if that was the plan, the pre sale comes and goes, and THEN I get the password in my inbox an hour later....it would be so f'ing cruel. 

This the most stressful night of this year hands down.!!!

My goodness, will people just CALM DOWN. And stop posting so much off-topic nonsense. It was seriously annoying to wade through this thread ... but I made it through, and I got the email. And Hanna, it only arrived about 15-20 minutes ago so it is quite possible yours is on the way. If not, give it until tomorrow afternoon and then PM Jarmo or Mysteron. If you are on the mailing list, I am sure they can arrange to have the email forwarded to you.

My email came from Live Nation, but I have not registered with that site so this email is from the presale set up for the message board fans. Just register with Ticketmaster.com.

It is strange that the email is from Live Nation for our 9-11am pre-sale, since I thought they were doing their own pre-sale from 11am - 1pm. I wonder what that is for, I didn't see the answer anywhere in this thread. I guess LN must be handling both pre-sales?

Anyway, I hope some of you folks can relax a little bit. This isn't happening until Thursday and you are going to drive yourselves crazy worrying about it. Most of us are going to get tickets, and it seems like there will be some leftovers. As said previously, there's the presale # 1, then presale # 2, then the regular sale, then our GNR Fan Face Value Ticket Network, and finally scalpers/brokers. We are all going to see GNR live people!!!

You guys really shouldnt assume that someone who posts here for the first time is a scalper. These forums represent less then 1 billonth of a percent of the fan base. Some people just really want to go, and fail to understand how posting on a web forum makes them more deserving then others.
