if you feel the need to register with ticketmaster and/or livewire then just do it.

That's what I did with Live Nation.? I wasn't playing any games with asking if I should.? I made the executive decision and just did it.

thats right, be your own boss.

thats the kind of go git 'em attitude that gets gnr tickets. no one needs to tell this guy what to do, he's kicking ass and taking Hammerstein floor space.

Move over God Prucc is in the house.

It looks like livenation uses the same buy tickets engine as ticketmaster....infact on the live nation page it says:

Use of the Ticketmaster Website signifies your agreement to the Terms of use and Privacy.

I think a ticketmaster account will work just as well......but yeah, make a livenation one too...takes 2 seconds.  I'm having trouble with livenation as well though, trying to recover my password for the first registration i made, and its not sending me anything.  big deal, just make another one.

If we said "two" tickets, but actually needed "three" can we just purchase "three" when the pre-sale begins?

That would be unfair. ?There was a reason why they asked for the number of tickets in the first place.

I don't think it is unfair.  They had a two ticket limit when I signed up and then changed the limit.  I'm still confused as to if I'm locked to two or not.  Not only that but with the confusion with this  through IMs I don't know if I've been ousted from the list of not.   nervous  That would suck.

Mysteron,

Quick question - is everyone who was eligible for the mailing list as per your stated criteria going to get the password?? Or is there a random selection process involved?

-darknemus

Everyone

the criteria being simply uou had to be a member of the message board for longer than a week correct? ?Us "lurkers," won't be left off simply because we don't have many posts right? ?If that's the case i'm dead even though i've been a member for quite sometime.

I'm just trying to clarify what you are saying. ?So the process of being able to change the ticket count from two to a higher number you are calling unfair? ?

finally, my email is back online.

Want me to post it on the site's news page?

It's great that you guys are excited, but a lot of this thread is off topic chatting....

It's not easy for people who are actually looking for information to find it if they have to look through 30 pages of posts....

So please, stay on topic.

No way. ?Say the pre-sale is for 500 tickets (i.e. the amount everyone requested in the first place). ?Now if everyone wanted to up their ticket purchase from 2 to 4 during the pre-sale because they changed their minds... that's unfair. ?For every person that changes their mind and does that... one less purchase can happen for the member of the forums.
