everyone has a right to go to both shows. and this board and management have done alot to help us out. hopefully no one misses out, but there is no perfect system to ensure that does not happen.

BUT, if it gets to the point where tix are being "shared" among board members, we should try to ensure that ALL board members get at least 1 ticket to one of the shows, BEFORE anyone shares tix with someone who has tix to one of the shows, OR who has 2 tix but wants 4 total (so their friends can go).

yeah, thats why when i told illusionone about my idea for the members sale board we were going to limit the tickets to two (hence why im only asking for two tickets though i have two other friends that want to go), that way a board member and a friend can have a better chance at getting tickets (im sure a lot of people dont feel like treking to new york alone). i think that idea got lost along the way though.

I really don't think 3,000 people are trying to get into the pre-sale.  I'd say the # is closer to 200-250 people.  Lets say that of those people, everyone's allowed / buys 4 tix for both shows.  That still leaves 2,700+ tix available for everyone else in the general sale process for both shows.  (For the record, I know I, for one, am not buying tix for the 17th - alot of people are also in that situation.. some just want tix for the 17th.. some for both.. so the math is slightly off, I'm sure)

Thats why I think we've got a prety good chance to score our tix here in the pre-sale.  Yes, there's a big 'demand' - but I dont think its as high as some are speculating.

assuming this is the biggest gnr fan site, ive been using our members sale list as a guide for how many people are on buying tickets.

a very loose guide, but atleast it helps you come up with a rough estimate.

The fact of the matter is nobody here really knows how the number of tix for pre sale, or who is going to be a part of it, is going to be determined.  Theres no need for the infighting or who deserves this and that (not that I think anyone is getting really pissy, but things like this tend to snowball).  I know its tough, but lets just all be a little patient and wait until we get more info.

Then again we are GNR fans, speculating is what we do best isn't it? hahah
