you'll be alright at this show. for the most part its going be be just diehard gnr fans not 17yr olds who are there just to mosh like at a VR show or any show that consists of a lot of teens. no offense to the younger  fans here. I'm sure you'll be up there with your fists pumping!

i was at the VR concert when they were at Roseland in NYC...I was in the first row against the rail. At times u feel as though ur gonna get crushed against the rail but you get used to it.

I really cant see this crowd being a pain in the ass with the pushing, shoving, moshing......

You are in for a rude awakening. People were mosing for Iron Maiden in NY last year (NJ but it was NY people).

From an avid NYC concert goer, trust me, any rock music people mosh to these days.

if i have  a concern its the pushing and shoving more than anything

that was nothing! you should've seen the VR show on this past New Years in Jersey. after seeing VR 7 times, for the first time i had to leave the front in order to enjoy the show. Trust me these shows will be nothing like that

Yeah, I had GA floor at the VR show in Chicago in October of '04. I got there early..and staked out what was essentially 2nd row before the opening act even played. The ALlstate Arena is basically an entire Hockey Rink as the GA floor..with probably 3-5 thousand people filling it. Yeah....3,000 people pushing forward as hard as they can with nothing but a human and a gaurdrail in front of you is not a good feeling. And I'm a reltaivley big guy....I couldn't imagine what it woulda been like for a woman or kid. Would I do it over again? Hell yes. Hopefully this show wont be like that since it's A) a smaller crowd espeically in the GA portion and b) mellower fans

wow...i've finalized my plans, and i'm going for sure!
? ?will drive from beautiful toronto, canada with a buddy...then park, head down to mustang sally's and party 'till the the time will come to fulfill a childhood dream...

? ?mysteron: can you divulge if the band's planning on filming for a possible video at the concert?

? ?as for moshing...i can't believe this is considered...isn't head-banging enough? either way, i plan on getting a balcony seat and hopefully have my buddy record the show on his cellphone...

? ?one quick question for any torontonians out there...the presale that will start at 11am...is that 11am OUR time as well?

? ?i've been a lurker for years...and i am in awe of the fact that this is happening on such an intimate/home-grown level. I have to thank Jarmo, Mysteron and the people involved in sending this presale out to us again...

I don't think anything will top ritz as a show, but the fans will... The people going to this show are people waiting forever to see something, even msg was ages ago for those of us who saw them in 02.. This is like taking an etheopian to a all you can eat buffet, plus evryone drinking and being pumped while waiting

I can't wait till the 2oth just so I know I have tickets

What the hell is Eastern Standard Time? It's not even a clickable option on timezoneconvertor.com. How do I check what time 11am EST is in British GMT??

I hear you, but without a doubt its the fans that will makethis, and at the end it will be the band that has to deliver, and I hae no doubts they will and ages from now this wil be looked on just as highly as the ritz, I have total confidence. And I think you have some in you also!:)
