someone posted this at  the sludge  today :


Today they were talking about the concerts next month and the Dj was bitching about Axl going out as GnR and it is only him and a bunch of replacement players except for reed everybody else was hired in the last 3 months. He also said do not waste your money sounds like a cover band. He heard and saw rehearsals. Now the big Question is. Is he telling the truth or just shitting everbody


Everyone was hired in the last 3 months??    stupid DJ

I have found in regards to GNR that DJs know less than us on the boards.  They're all bullshitters, unless it's Eddie Trunk. hihi

why does it piss you off, honestly, maybe that dj loved the old band and knows nothing except axl is the only original member they have no material album wise and it's guys he never heard of.. There's a lot of truth to that..  Sure he comes off sounding like an ass but he knows what he hears adn that's what most people are like..

Just a DJ venting & exaggerating in the process. Please don't read into this. He probably 'heard' the tracks but claims he 'heard & saw them rehearse'.

I totally agree.  Most of them work for Clear Channel and are probably encouraged to bash Axl at every opportunity.
