« on: April 14, 2006, 05:18:29 PM »

if the opening riffs to Jungle are played  ,  the lights come on  and you see the current lineup of GNR instead of the old members  ?   I know the chances of a GNR reunion are slim and none but with all the news going around  I do have a little hope  that maybe it might just happen.  I know I am going to be sad if it doesn't happen because I feel the new band isn't dedicated fully to GNR.  They all see this as a project intead of a band. I have a feeling that Fink, Stinson, Brian and fortus don't give a shit if this album is ever released. All they care about is that they got paid. I also think that these people don't reallty care for Axl one bit,  they used him for the money . They pretty much whored themselves for the $$$$$$$.   Just watch , if this thing doesn't work out i can see Tommy and Finck badmouthing Axl in interviews.   Axl, Duff, Slash and Izzy may not like each on a professional level but i believe that they still have love for each other personally. They will always be brothers  and that is something that money can't buy.  A lot of you may badmouth me for this post  but deep down inside  all of you feel the same way  and would love to see a GNR reunion.

I'm expecting to see the new lineup so I won't be let down, I'm sure a few straglers might buy tickets thinking it's the real gnr that's is wordlwide famous ...

Anyway they are guns for hire, they helped axl fufill a job and they are touring now with him.. .. I never looked at it to be sad like gnr won't be there because I never felt it was gnr anymore..

this thing has fallen apart before, and they have yet to bad mouth him.

personally i want to see the new band. ive already seen VR so i got my slash fix, now all i need is the axl half.

i dont need them all together because, really, the new band seems more then capable of pulling of the old music, and actually, i tend to like the newer versions of the older songs better.

I won't be disappointed in the slightest personally. ?I WANT to see the new line up. ?I would be afraid for the band's future if the original members were there. ?

your saying that the current line up doesnt care about that band or chinese democracy, regardless of all the time work and effort that was put forth into this thing. if what your saying has any hint of truth in it the band would have split a long time ago.

and to answer ur question, no i would not.

I wouldn't be let down as I said, but if I heard the opening riff to jungle and I saw slash onstage I would be all the more happier.. WOuld be nice for the actual riff to come from the guy who plays it

I'll be more disappointed if Robin, Richard and Tommy aren't on stage.  I'm not there to see a group of retreaded has beens that are still stuck inthe 80's.

Yeah, it's sooooo disappointing that there are new shows scheduled, more people are into the idea of going to see GN'R now than a few years ago and we even had some new stuff to listen to. This all sucks!

I want that reunion dammit!
