you guys keep thinking that... coz matt and Axl ran into each other at a party the entire band is getting back toghether??????????  Recording contracts rewrtten,  Schedules changeds, Managment and legal issues all for what??? to play the same old song?? Fuck that.... 

I bet he doesnt hate those guys but seriously.... do u think hes just gonna can all the work and the entire new band so they can go back on the road and play the hits?

I doubt a reunion is going to happen this summer, but it sure does seem like things are percolating with the UYI guy's, more than anytime since 1995.? So we know that Axl and Slash, and now Axl and Matt have met in the past year.? Duff is left!? One thing is apparent, it seems fairly likely that at some point, the UYI line-up will play together again.  I doubt now is the time.

Well, this certainly was ... unexpected. While I don't think a reunion is in the cards, it certainly is strange timing. It seems like Axl has now talked to Slash, Izzy and Matt within the past 6-12 months, as someone else mentioned. So it's no wonder that the conspiracy theorists are seeing connections.

Agreed. I wanna see the new band and what they can do as a real band (with interviews, videos, etc.). Plus finally hear THAT album.

There is no way a reunion can happen right now given all the money the label spent on CD. That album has to see the light of day before anything else can truly move forward.

However, don't think Axl didn't see Live 8 this year and the reaction Pink Floyd playing together again garnered. A Waters-less Floyd still sold album and sold out stadiums, but the magic of them playing together again was undeniable.

When Axl heard the numbers being thrown around for a Floyd reunion after that I am sure it got his attention in terms of what a Guns reunion could potentially be worth in the future.
