1992.05.22 - It's been 14 years of silence....

« on: April 13, 2006, 06:10:40 PM »

Several photos of this past Sunday's (April 9) road accident scene in Danvers, Massachusetts involving members of HOOKERS 'N' BLOW ? the band featuring GUNS N' ROSES keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Alex Grossi (ex-QUIET RIOT, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES), drummer Troy Patrick Farrell (WHITE LION), and bassist Scottie Griffin (LIARS AND CHEATS) ? have been posted online at Farrell's official web site. According to Troy, "Grossi, Griffin and [vocalist] Pearl (RATT, LOVE/HATE) are all currently recovering well in Los Angeles. Grossi and Pearl will do all the LOVE/HATE shows as planned. HOOKERS 'N' BLOW are currently working on rescheduling the missed date late May or early June. The new dates will be posted at www.hookersnblowme.com."

So , this time GNR will be in Europe and Dizzy not ?

No, Jizzy Pearl covers when Dizzy isn't there, or something to that extent.

Maybe H&B won't have Dizzy, they'll temporarily replace him.

Dizzy's not gonna blow off GN'R to tour with hookers & blow. He can do both, and if not someone will fill in for the h&b shows.

the jizzy part is true...and that is the line up for the late spring dates...

and let's not lose site of the purpose of Hookers N Blow.....from www.hookersnblowme.com

bio:

Originally formed as a way to get free drinks in Hollywood,

****it's about the drinks and the fun..not paying off the mortgage

Dizzy Reed?s Hollywood Bulldozer was put together in early 2004. "The response has been overwhelming?, says guitarist Alex Grossi, ?you forget just how big Guns N? Roses are. Not to mention the fact that Dizzy has now been a member of G N? R for 14 years. On our last tour, we would show up to the clubs and there would be a stack of fan mail from all over the world for Dizzy, it's pretty amazing."

The band?s set list is comprised of many Guns & Roses songs along with a mix of classic rock standards. The band?s energy is infectious. From the first song it is apparent how much they enjoy playing together and it does not take long for the audience to become as much a part of the show as the 5 guys on stage. Drummer Troy Patrick Farrell explains, ?there?s been so many times that we?ve played a show & the audience is full of people who saw us the night before & drove like 2 hours to see us again??it?s great.?
