Any "insiders" here know when we might expect a single?....

I've still gotten no word on that, but can tell you that I was told a few weeks ago.. "no demos have even been mastered yet."

However, if one demo was slated to appear on The Da Vinci code I would assume it would have to be mastered within the next month.

If that's a quote from your "source" then they're just as stupid as you.  No one masters their demos.  You master your final track.  Any "insider" would know the lingo. 

Also, I'd bet the soundtrack for Da Vinci is already mastered and being pressed as we speak.  Soundtracks usually are released before the film these days.

Actually reunion sounds more promising. Axl has played the waiting game to his advantage to try and work things out in hopes Slash and Duff return. 2002 was an eye opener. They have tons of time between now and September to re-record and add anything to the album. Until i see the line-up or an official line-up is announced i think its wide open right now. I can't imagine the new band playing the same old AFD setlists as was in 2002. Now Slash and Duff with Axl doing the old material would seem fresh. They also can't play a ton of new material or CD will not be a surprise at all. Might as well leak the whole album now.

Not sure why i'm a jackass....seems to me one persons opinion is as valid as anyone elses. Its not as if Fortus gave us the official timeline of events. Sounds like he made the statments with his fingers crossed. He also stated that the band sounded better than ever. That could meen a hundred different combinations of people. Since the Lies album we have had several changes and it has gotten more inconsitent as time wears on. It so inconsistent they can not even devulge officially who's in or out. So you little penis puss pool i will keep an open mind to whatever happens.... nothing will surprise me. Well I stand corrrected there will be one song on the soundtrack.  "Celice" by Martin Terefe.  Its on IMDB.  Any songs would be in the credits, the credits are uploaded to IMDB via the studios.  You people want to believe this shit so bad it's pathetic.  There will be no GNR song in that film.

Catcher in the Rye for the movie Chapter 27 which is based on the murder of John Lennon makes more sense as a soundtrack to be associated with. I'm generally against soundtracks anyway. But Chapter 27 and CITR makes sense.
