MuchMusic (Canada) on GNR Reunion/VR/Weiland Solo

Ok MuchNews just did one of its little segments (for those not in the know, Much Music is Canada's answer to MTV... actually MTV Canada exists but it sucks. MM is marginally better).

They had a 3-part clip:

A) They report hearing "rumors" that Slash and Duff will join Axl for some shows this summer, saying the "feud is patched over enough" for it to happen.

B) They then talk about VR entering the studio to work on their new album, and working with Pharell.

C) They say Pharell is also going to work with Weiland on Weiland's new solo album.

C is news to me... the rest is all shit we've heard before I guess. But these rumors refuse to die. And why is Weiland working on a new solo album when VR is supposed to record?

VR managment said VR are going back into the studio soon to work on the next album.
Tommy said he is still in Gnr, so what gnr will have two bass players?

Why cant some people beleive Slash and Duff have moved on?? They arnt back in guns and wont be id say for another 5 7 years..VR are going in the studio on the 10.4.06 so start working on the new VR album..They have heaps of ideas from sound checks from there last tour and Duff and Matt have allready been recording stuff for weeks.
Scotts been working on and off on his next solo CD since his first one.......

i believe that a reunion for download was at least planned. there is too much pointing to it for it being bullshit.

-slash knowing about the release date
-GH2 planned by axl ( i suppose it was planned for the reunion. perhaps it was the live cd classic rock talked about,   since it was rumoured to be 2 discs....)
- the new logo which contains old gnr stuff
- axl`s download comments definitely suggest a reunion

Roses? vocalist Axl Rose said, ?The UK and Europe have always been special for me.  After our last great shows there, we are all very excited and looking forward to getting back over there and in front of such great audiences.  Donington has always meant a lot to me personally, way before I ever played there.  To be asked to headline is for me an honour and a privilege that none of us take for granted.  We look forward to seeing all of you at Download!?

sanctuary called this bullshit, but i believe that they`d either know shit about it or aren?t allowed to say anything....

my personal guess is, that the classic rock article is true and axl filed the lawsuit/ issued his statement when slash and duff declined to agree with those terms....however, with the loads of money involved i think it`s still a real possibility  to see them at download this year. i definitely don`t discount anything regarding a one time reunion anymore...

if it actually happens is another thing of anyways

Yeah Slash was spot on that release date.
