if slash was back in the band, do you think the pr side of whatever fucking music companies are involved in the band these days would have kept it under wraps? reunion tours are major selling points. if slash was back, you'd have had an offical announcement.

A Suprise reunion would be even bigger.

Hell it would probably even make National news.

Funny how there's more GN'R in Velvet Revolver then there is in Guns N' Roses.

it seems entirely unlikey

in saying that, Axl has a funny way of going about things - it'd be a dream come true for most, but either way, I just hope we hear the album this year

^ dude, you can see the logo at the wikipedia article for guns n roses.

That must make it official, then Commie...? Wink

No, but it will be. It's well publicized and it wouldn't be at wikipedia if it was random, or else someone else would take it off.

Oh, something I relised.
Slash owns the rights to the 2 pistols wrapped in Roses logo right?
Well seeing how it's in the new logo... Cheesy I'm getting more and more suspisous.

Really? I didn't know that. Is there a proof for this?  Huh

I've heard that he designed them. But I don't know if that's true.

maybe. but there is no way they would play it like that when they could sell out [all their] stadiums straight off the bat.
theres just too much money involved for a reunion campaign to be kept under wraps.

and really with all the bad blood around, im surprised we're even having to dismiss a reunion in the first place.

Well, I still think that the rumors of a reunion (which I would love to see) are pretty far fetched.  The new logo though is of some interest to me considering the logo is a mixture of old and new.

After listening to Contraband, I would hope they aren't back in GN'R.  The new music sounds just fine without them.

For the last time.. that logo is NOT official.

It's promoter made and it wasn't made from the Gnr camp.

That's all.

do you seriously think some promoter would create a gnr logo???

and then send it to all other promoters as well as festival promoters?

and richard posts the unofficial logo as well?

i don?t think so....

Do you actually think there is any merit to these Slash and Duff are back rumors?

Unfortunately not.

On the cover of LLAS/Lies it says something like "Cover design by Slash".. so I think that he designed that logo beer

I think Richard's webmaster would just scoop up the most recent guns n roses logo he could find, preferably the one being used on posters/pamphlets to promote the shows.

I also believe that any promoter, who was informed gnr would be on a concert, would probably at first try to get an "official" logo, but then if that could not be attained would resort to creating his own logo to promote the concert. Once that logo was seen, all other promoters would then assume its official or use it because it is the newest one to appear.

No source I have has verified that as "official"..and in my opinion it look pretty tacky.. that's not something I think Axl would approve of...
