Honestly, I think it would blow up, in a bad way.  I really don't believe they could work together for any length of time.  Yeah, they may play a show or 2, but then personalities would clash and the whole tour would crash, hard.

I don't want to live in the past and listen to the old music.  I want to hear NEW music. Those guys are not gonna give us the new music.  The were not a part of creating it.  I want to hear the guys who CONTRIBUTED to the new stuff.

shit, that'd be the mother of all gigs!!!! i would totally scream my ass off the whole time, i mean c'mon, GNR reunited??? it doesn't get any better than that. i don't know how some people say that the new gnr is the real deal. here's the truth: the new gnr is just a sad attempt at recreating something that only the original band could give us.

If there ever were a reunion tour...I think it would be best to let CD blow over when and if it ever happens.  But for surpirse reunion tour...I think that a coller more subtle way to get the audience pumped and confused would be to have Slash's guitar tech do the traditional preshow that he did with GnR and now does with Velvet Revolver.  Everyone would just kinda be lookin around at each other as they gave that a moment to settle in the dark and then they would explode into one of the old songs that isnt WTTJ.  Possibly Night Train.  Now that would be a cool surprise.

1. ?The original Gn'R lineup reunites LIVE, and they agree to play songs off of CD, but it never gets released. ?You'll have bootlegs of the shows and whatever, but that's it. ?Forever. ?We never hear the finished studio versions. ?Maybe someday they'd record new material, but it's up in the air. OR....

2. ?The "new Gn'R" is as-is, and CD is released next week. ?But there is NEVER a reunion, and this is the band we'll see.

Which do you choose?
