Pearl's Jam next record comes out on May 2nd.? This past weekend a 6 song demo sampler leaked onto message boards.?

Guns N' Roses demos leaked several weeks ago.? Perhaps the leaking of demos is a new marketing strategy for record companies?? Maybe the companies themselves do not leak the demos but distribute demos discs to token individuals once a cd is ready to be released, knowing that these demos will hit the web sooner or later to build up interest in the album.

Better was leaked soon after it was mentioned by axl, a song no one had heard of until axl did the first interview.

Pure speculation, but lots of other signs recently point to a release "soon."

Yeah, I understand your point. But you kinda already give the answer yourself. Pearl Jam has a release date, GnR don't. So it's impossible to even guess if we are close. Especially considering it's GnR.

In the world of GnR the best this is to take everything at face value, 99% of what is written is BS. I will only believe CD is out when it's in my hands  ok

I find it interesting that a song we had not heard of until Axl mentioned it in January, leaked a couple of weeks later. That to me is very worthy of consideration when looking at possible conspiracy theories

Are you kidding!?

I was never a fan of Pearl Jam, but even I can tell the music has gotten so horribly worse with each new album.  I can't imagine how doped up and zombified Eddie Vedder is at this point.

I wouldn't be surprised if the new album has nothing but static on it with Eddie reciting Chaucer in the background with a baby rattle.

For Axl to give up now and not even release whatever he's been working on would be horrible. I gotta figure that we'll hear something at some point. Maybe CD will be released posthumoniously in many years, but we will hear something someday.

Anybody who says that hasn't listened to a whole pearl jam album in years. Not only that but there is a thread over in Bad Obsession where you can talk about them. This is the Guns N' Roses Board.

Agreed.

Considering the number of song titles we've had over the past years and the fact that we had no leaks until January, that's a pretty amazing coincidence.
