I used to go to a place called MLBCenter and from there they have a way that a single user can only post once every 25 seconds or so.

And, I was thinking woulden't that be a great way to automatically control the pests that come on here and start something?

I mean maybe not 25 seconds but maybe more like 45 seconds or so.

I dont know I post something on bad obssesion and then I have to wait until 25 sec to post in other thread is too much, I've seen a few boards with that and is very boring.

Well, not really. Because you didn't actually suggest anything! Twennty five seconds is ridiculous in as far as not only is there no reason that it should become an annoyance, but it doesn't solve anything either!

You could make it longer. I was just bringing up the 25 second rule as an example. It could be like a 45-60 second rule or something like that. You would be suprised at how fast some people can type out posts.

I actually think it sounds like an interesting idea.  But then again, I don't know how much trouble it really is, people posting crap like that one guy did the other day.  It doesn't seem like it happens that often.

Surely by the time you finish in one thread, go to another and read the previous post etc and think about a response, that would be a good minute anyway!

This other board I go to has the one minute posting rule / delay. I've not _once_ had it tell me "you can't post yet", except for the one time I tested to see if it actually works. It is handy for spammers though.

It's fine if you can begin to type your message but can't post it for that amount of time.. Sometimes it only takes a second to read something during a debate or whatever and you want to reply but each time you do it, it tells you you have to wait

Well, the worst they could do is break their screen or post shitty worthless posts and get banned...
