First post, have made very minor alterations to the lyrics, there is one or 2 parts that are sound so similar to other words that rather than contradict whats already been done, i've left alone, but in my ears, this is the lyrics set

I can't figure out how any one hear's "And knowing you" to me it sounds just like, and makes more sense as

If I were you I'd manage to avoid the invitation
A promised love that can't keep up with your adoration

but i guess we won't know unless something official ever gets printed

I didn't know where to find the thread on the lyrics to Better, so I'm starting a new topic for this.  As far as I can hear, the 3rd verse starts as follows:

Rather than:

My two cents... I used dave-gnfnr2k lyrics as a backbone and made changes to it in italics.  I especially think that "a twist of fate" is more likely to be "a twisted fate" and "avoid/abort the invitation" is actually "abhor the invitation."  The other changes I'm not so sure, but those fit in very well to the song.
