i'm sure alot of you have noticed (since 2002) how the new gnr logo actually says "G&R", and the same with this new logo, and certain festival promoters are listing the band as "guns & roses" (even though i'm sure this could be a mistake, most still list them as "guns n' roses", and that's the name axl owns too), so how do you feel about this? i think it's ok that he wants to make this something different, also in writing, but do you think they will use "G&R" for other purposes than touring, like on the album cover? it's anyone's guess, but feel free to add thoughts on this! beer

It's still "GUNS N' ROSES". Anything with "G&R" is just an arty thing for the sake of that type of font... if that makes any sense?!

It's weird how people always write Guns. There are Guns 'n Roses, Guns N Roses, Guns n? Roses, Guns ?N Roses, Guns 'N' Roses, Guns n* Roses, Guns N^ Roses...(i've even seen Guns &' Roses) How hard is it to write GUNS N' ROSES? damn.

Guns N'Roses/Guns & Roses it's pretty much a much of a muchness. I'm pretty sure the band have been called by both names since the beginning.

If you look on the official GnR web site the logo clearly shows a 5 point star with G&R + guns n Roses (guns is written with a lower case 'g' and roses written using a capital 'R' - v.odd).

thats because it's Axl Rose not Axl guns.  Actually i don't knnow why, but I didn't like the & in the name.  But they still put the N' below it.
