I do too wonder about the sales figures in the countrys outside of scandinavia. What's up with Poland, Hungary and so  forth? Some dates are not availible for purchase just yet so I'll guess we'll have to wait and see. Otherwise scandinavians are just more in to hard rock beer Ironmaiden for example are extremley hughe over here. Last summer they sold out an 60 000 capacity stadium in Sweden in a matter of minutes, while Eminem/50 cent had to cancel the same stadium due to poor ticket sales ok

Good point. If these shows were testing the waters, we may see some new tunes real soon.

This is scary logic. Can't the same be said of the 02 tour to a certain extent?

I doubt he'll be looked at as a joke, but I do think people will lose interest extremely fast... All this hype building up... If he doesn't deliver the bubble will burst and I don't think it'll ever get as much interest after that...

I am always amazed to see GNR booking dates, yet never seem to promote the shows.  I wonder why they never do full scale promotion?

They don't really need it. Especially in Europe. These shows are going to be full without promotion. Plus, there's the mythology of "Chinese Democracy" thats almost like promotion in itself.

I believe people are well informed at least here.... (that's in Finland)
