CD mention on BIG 105.9 in Miami

I know over the years we've learned not to trust what DJs say at all, but..........

This afternoon, Courtney Young played GNR and when the song was over, mentioned the lawsuits and what Scott said "Is there anything he won't comment on?"(she said).? Then said VR are working on new stuff, blahblah, then said Chinese Democracy would be out the end of April.? Take with a grain of salt of course.? But I do believe she is the PD of that staion as well, so maybe she knows something........

Anyone who listens to nights with Alice Cooper knows that he has been adament that CD is coming out this year and has a release date.

i think it's possible a release date has been set, and we'll find out soon. it's also more possible that no one has a clue yet when it's coming out.

I haven't listened to them since Howard got fired, and only sparsely than, but if I remember correctly they are a classic rock station. They wouldnt even be playing the new stuff.

Most likely another DJ regurgitating internet rumors trying to sound like someone who has an inside source.

I'd love to be 100% wrong about that, however.

Big is definitely a 'classic rock' station.  (its in my local market)  If you hear any Guns on there its an occasional WTTJ or, more likely, SCOM.  Its usually stuff more like Boston, Journey, George Thorogood (sp?), Foreigner, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, AC/DC, etc, etc.  I don't know if Courtney's their PD or not, though.  I thought that was a Clear Channel thing.. maybe Dave Ross?  Who knows.  Anyway, here's a link to her spot on their website: http://big1059.com/pages/courtneyyoung.html

To tell you the truth... not anything against axl but i wont beleive it until i see it .... axl has not been very true to us before
