It was just people talking about the recent articles, which were made up and twisted from that Axl RS interview.

Guys

Guns N Roses is...

Axl Rose- Vocals/Piano
Dizzy Reed- Keyboards
Tommy Stinson-Bass
Brain-Drums
Richard Fortus-Guitar
Robin Finck-Guitar
Chris Pittman- Effect/Synth/Samples

Whether there will be a 3rd guitar player and who that will be is yet to be determined.

Slash/Duff will not be touring with Guns N Roses this summer.

That's all.

Wow, it's great to see someone around here who knows it all......

Well, you can believe what you want... or you can believe the truth.

I can't make your decisions.

What you work for Axl? If the answer is no than please don't pretend to know the truth.

Well said.

So many people act like their opinion is fact.

Although, I must admit to being guilty of this in the past too...? confused? hihi

Live!! From Burning Hills, Wellington...

« Reply #86 on: March 24, 2006, 08:09:23 PM »

after the last statement, how could they feasibly share a stage? Unless it is all an elablorate smokescreen.  Undecided

It would be magic to have Slash and Axl back on stage - absolute magic. I would hope if there had been a reconciliation of some kind, that at the very least Slash had redone the lead parts of CD or at least some of them. It would validate it as a  Guns album  to a large degree and there would be no question about it being a big hit in terms of sales.

If Axl really wants a large audience to hear his grand vision or lifes work that is CD, then having Slash on board would guarantee he reached a much larger audience.

It would be a dream come true, and the most exciting thing to happen in rock n roll for a very long time  drool

True, but...

Think of how many fights GNR had between 1986 ad 1994...

I'm sure they could overcome this.  ok

the question is why did he wait until recently to call him all that shit for?  i know why... to throw us off about whats really going on so it would be like the ultimate surprise, just like the vma's in 2002

You think this because you've heard nothing to refute the possiblility.

Well, I did think about that. 'Cause just before Axl's press release the rumours were getting stronger and stronger. And maybe they were afraid of it getting it out too early. So they did the opposite so no one will expect it.

The ONLY thing that is making me even think that this could be REMOTELY true is the fact that we have had no updates from the official web site, no new promo pics for the upcoming tour and the vague comment how they were planning on doing something "out of the box" with their marketing stratedgy (at least I think I remember reading that somewhere).

All that being said, its 99% unlikely to happen.

I do wonder why you keep hearing about it though...if its so unlikely, then why do we keep hearing it?? Unless people WANT it so bad they are almost willing it to happen?? I don't know.? But the silence only two months away from RIR is REALLY wierd (even for this band).

No new promo pics, has there ever been any promotional band pics hihi and of course people want it... WHy the hell would people want to see the made up guns over the actual famous guns.. Yes I know the people here want it..... Even I would take it because CD is someone elses material

« Reply #98 on: March 25, 2006, 05:19:07 AM »

If the new band or parts of it already quit... maybe with Tomy saing something like: " Axl you know what, we shouldn't be doing this. Get Slash and Duff back!"... i might be able to believe it could happen.

Unless the band is still "intact" it would be nothing but a huge mistake.

GNR is the new band now for me Shocked

they have all these tour dates, I am sure everyone who should be there will be there..

I still don't know who would play the big solo in irs if they played it live... They must have another player lined up since BH was the best player they had.. Who would do his solos
